Del Mar
San Diego County sheriff’s deputies arrested two people and confiscated $500,000 worth of cocaine in a weekend drug raid in Del Mar, a Sheriff’s Department spokesman said Monday.
Deputies obtained a search warrant and arrested Ronald J. Vincent, 43, and Jennifer Occhipinti, 20, both of Del Mar, at a residence in the 2000 block of Cordero Road, said Glenn Revell, a spokesman for the sheriff’s office.
Agents in the department’s street narcotics and gang detail also confiscated 4 kilograms of cocaine, a 1985 BMW and $5,600 in cash from the premises, Revell said.
“The warrant was issued as the result of a three-week investigation,” Revell said.
The suspects surrendered without incident, Revell said.
