“WE HAVE everything from ‘Beatle boots’ to ‘20s looks,” says Amy Montemarano, who, with partners Florestano Caracciolo and Marco Innocenti, recently opened Stradivari. “But everything is classic with a twist.”
The small, striking, Italian-influenced shop, with its red and orange mottled walls and iron furniture by Frederick Sutherland, stocks a rainbow of suede flats and low heels (from $150 to 4330): green, mauve, taupe, beige, blue and black.
Stradivari, 1133 Montana Ave., Santa Monica; (213) 394-3249.
