Hot Retail Market: Orange County, with its wealth of shopping-happy affluent families, will be the hottest market for retail property in the nation over the next five years, reports a new study by the accounting firm of Ernst & Young.
The county will also be the third strongest market for suburban office space and sixth for housing, the study found.
In retail, Orange County topped Los Angeles, Atlanta, San Francisco, Seattle and San Diego. Riverside-San Bernardino was listed in 11th place.
