AFI Climbs to Goal: The American Film Institute has already raised $3.1 million in the first three months of its Campaign 2000, which has an overall goal to raise $20 million during the next three years. The fund-raising drive was launched to create a permanent endowment to support film and television preservation, training and exhibition programs at the institute.
