SANTA ANA : Historic Home Tour Trip Back in Time
Visitors to Wilshire Square can travel back in time this weekend as the neighborhood hosts its annual historic home tour.
Eight Wilshire Square homes that were built in the 1920s and ‘30s will be open for a self-guided walking tour that begins at the Holland House, 1245 S. Birch St. Vintage cars from that era also will be on display.
The 650-home Wilshire Square neighborhood is bordered by McFadden Avenue, Main Street, Edinger Avenue and Flower Street and boasts the largest concentration of restored homes in the city, said Marc LaFont, co-chairman of the neighborhood association.
The home tour is scheduled from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. today and Sunday. Tickets, which include admission, tour program, door prizes and refreshments, are $7, or $6 in advance. Tickets can be purchased on the day of the event at the Holland House. Call (714) 647-0162.
