P.M. BRIEFING : Hills Urges Trade Talks Support

TORONTO — Painting a scene of disputes and trade wars if current trade liberalization talks fail, U.S. Trade Representative Carla Anderson Hills today urged business to support trade reform before it is too late.
Hills said a successful completion of the current Uruguay Round of trade negotiations within the Geneva-based General Agreement on Tariffs and Trade is the United States’ top priority and noted that there are only 199 days left to reach an agreement.
