Ronald J. Jackson, 46, has been named chairman, president and chief executive for Quaker Oats’ Fisher-Price business. He is currently president and chief executive of Stride Rite Corp. of Cambridge, Mass., and formerly president and chief executive of Kenner Parker Toys Inc. Quaker announced last month that its board had approved in principle the distribution of Fisher-Price to Quaker’s shareholders, with Fisher-Price operating as an independent, free-standing company.
