Chapman Finishes Eighth in Division II Tennis
Chapman lost to Abilene Christian, 5-1, Wednesday and finished in last place in the eight-team NCAA Division II men’s tennis championships at St. Louis.
Pete Bohan was the only Chapman player to win a match. The Panthers, ranked No. 3 in the nation entering the tournament and winner of three Division II championships in the 1980s, finished the season with an 11-12 record.
The individual championships start today and continue through Sunday.
