Test Tube Tiger Triplets Hailed as a ‘First’ by Zoo

OMAHA — Three tiger cubs were born as a result of in vitro fertilization, the Henry Doorly Zoo announced Wednesday. Zoo officials said the cubs, delivered by Cesarean section April 27, represent the success of a scientific “first” that could aid preservation of the species in captivity.
