Team Searches for Clues in Death of Woman, 28
Nearly two dozen cadets from the Sheriff’s Academy on Friday combed the lot surrounding a South San Gabriel home for clues to the death of a 28-year-old woman whose body was found at her home in the morning, authorities said.
The woman’s name was not released pending notification of relatives, said sheriff’s spokesman Deputy George Ducoulombier. The cause of death had not been determined.
Her body was found by a neighbor at her home in the unincorporated community at about 6 a.m., Ducoulombier said. The cadets were called in from the academy in Whittier to help search the surrounding five-acre lot “for anything out of the ordinary,” he said.
