UCLA, led by Debbi Koyama’s even-par 73, shot the best round on the third and final day to win the Pacific 10 women’s golf championship at Stanford.
Brandie Burton of Arizona State shot 214 for the tournament to win the individual title. Arizona’s Martina Koch finished second at 218, and Jean Zedlitz of UCLA was third at 222.
In the men’s Pac-10 tournament at Tempe, Ariz., host Arizona State rolled to a 54-stroke victory over Arizona. Sun Devil sophomore Phil Mickelson won medalist honors by a shot over teammate Scott Frisch.
