Radinsky Makes White Sox Roster

Former Simi Valley High pitcher Scott Radinsky will be part of the opening-day roster for the Chicago White Sox.
Radinsky, 22, was named Chicago’s minor league player of the year in 1989 after he saved 33 games for the club’s Class-A affiliate in South Bend, Ind. Radinsky, a 6-foot-3, 195-pound left-hander, struck out 82 and walked 19 in 62 innings. He had a 7-5 record with a 1.74 earned-run average.
