Mid-Valley ARC in Semifinals

The Mid-Valley ARC basketball team won its pool Saturday and advanced to today’s semifinals of the Virginia basketball tournament at Hampton University.
Mid-Valley ARC beat South Carolina, 21-18, when South Carolina left the court midway through the second period in protest of the officiating. Mid-Valley ARC then defeated New Jersey, 74-61.
Against New Jersey, Channel Islands High junior Stephan Brown scored four points and Camarillo junior David Harbour--the Valley-area’s leading scorer last season at 27.7 points a game--added three.
