Edward Smith, a senior transfer from El Paso, Tex., has been approved to play baseball for Royal High and will be in uniform for the Highlanders’ Chino tournament game today. Smith, a 5-foot-11 right-hander, left Hanks High on Wednesday and attended Royal’s win over Channel Islands on Friday.
