Three Lancaster residents were arrested Wednesday on suspicion of killing a Lancaster man whose body was found near the Antelope Valley Freeway last month, Los Angeles County sheriff’s deputies said.
Deputies raided the residences of Kenneth Massi, 33; George Costello, 34, and Christopher Dixon, 28--who live in separate units of the same Lancaster apartment complex--and arrested the three men after finding evidence linking them to the slaying of Kyle McCabe, 29, Deputy Bill Linnemeyer said.
McCabe’s body was found about 200 yards east of the Antelope Valley Freeway near G Street on March 12. He had been shot several times and stabbed repeatedly in the upper body, Linnemeyer said.
Linnemeyer would not release further details about the case or the nature of the evidence recovered in the search.
The suspects were being held without bail at the Antelope Valley Sheriff’s Station and were scheduled to be arraigned today in Antelope Valley Municipal Court.
