STOCKHOLM — The game of golf requires a cool mind and a steady hand. But even the keenest of golfers can sometimes raise his club in anger.
A Swedish player recently was practicing his swing on a small airfield outside the southern Swedish town of Hoganas when a groundsman drove up on a tractor and told him to stop.
The golfer, angered by the interruption, smashed the side windows of the tractor with his club.
Groundsman Allan Jonsson escaped unharmed, according to the Swedish news agency TT, but he reported the incident to the police, who charged the golfer--with violation of aviation laws.
