Not Limited Service
The March 4 edition of the Travel Section contained an article (“Charter Flights May Soon Be Grounded as the Lines of Distinction Blur,” by Peter Greenberg) which depicts LTU Airways as a charter company that flies “from U.S. cities where service to foreign countries is extremely limited.” But LTU is the second flag carrier authorized by the German government to conduct scheduled service between Germany and points in the United States.
LTU serves Germany from New York, Miami, Los Angeles and San Francisco. Those cities can hardly be termed as “service limited.”
