Debate Over Yosemite’s Future
Our family received great pleasure from Brower’s column as he shared his Yosemite experiences from 1918 to the present. For five generations our family has been revitalized by the splendor of the valley and the surrounding country.
My parents’ honeymoon anecdotes; their parents’ experiences; the 33 years of annual treks my husband and I have made with and now without our children; their joy in sharing all that beauty with their children--part of our heritage since 1911. And Yosemite Park and Curry Co. deserve all the praise Brower suggested.
As Brower wrote, it is a joy to watch the faces of people as they discover such beauty while all the time services and lodging are performed with great efficiency and dignity.
