Diceon to Pay $600,000 Fine: Diceon Electronics Inc. of Irvine agreed to settle criminal charges of illegally dumping toxic wastes into the Los Angeles sewer system. The firm pleaded no contest to three felony charges, and the Los Angeles District Attorney’s office agreed to drop felony chages against the firm’s two top officers and one former employee. While not admitting guilt in the case, agreed to pay a $600,000 fine and was placed on three years probation.
