Girls’ Basketball Coach at Hueneme Steps Down
Callie Gibson resigned Tuesday as girls’ basketball coach at Hueneme High after 20 seasons. Hueneme was 14-11 overall and placed fourth in the Channel League with an 8-6 mark.
“It’s time for a young person to take over,” said Gibson, adding that a successor has not been named.
