Geffen Launches New Label: Music mogul David Geffen, who has agreed to sell his Geffen Records company to MCA Inc., has launched DGC Records--his third label in as many decades. The new label, to be headed up by longtime Geffen Records executive Ed Rosenblatt, will concentrate on new artists. DGC plans to release 10 albums in its first year.
