Britons to Buy Boyle-Midway: American HomeProducts Corp. of New York has agreed to sell its Boyle-Midway home products subsidiary to Reckitt & Colman PLC of Britain for $1.25 billion. The acquisition is part of a strategy by London-based Reckitt & Colman to increase its household products operations and expand in the United States and Europe. Boyle-Midway makes such products as Woolite laundry soap and Easy-Off oven cleaner. Rickitt & Colman makes mustards and other items.
