Firm Issues Second Recall of Aquarium Light Cords

WASHINGTON — A retailer has announced that it is recalling 39,000 aquarium light cords for a second time because consumers have not responded to the initial effort. McCrory Corp. said it recalled the electric light cord assembly part of its Aqua Hex Aquariums because “the wires may short circuit and ignite the cord.”
