Joseph I. Levine, 63, a producer and associate producer on Broadway who also headed a theatrical investment firm that helped fund more than 60 plays. His New York credits include “J. B.,” the Archibald MacLeish play that won the 1959 Pulitzer Prize for drama; “Goldilocks;” “At the Drop of a Hat,” and “Big Fish, Little Fish.” With his wife, Johnna, he was co-producer on Broadway of “Bob and Ray--The Two and Only.” He moved to Los Angeles in 1977 and was co-producer here of “Kid Gloves” and a business manager and attorney for many in the entertainment industry. In Tarzana on Oct. 17 of stomach cancer.
