Dukakis Critic Aims to Be Massachusetts Governor

BOSTON — State Rep. John H. Flood, who has been an outspoken critic of Gov. Michael S. Dukakis’ administration, announced he will run for governor next year. Flood, 50, who kicked off his campaign on Tuesday, likely will face Lt. Gov. Evelyn Murphy and Francis X. Bellotti.
