The Denver Nuggets are trying to sign Yugoslavia’s most talented basketball star, Toni Kukoc, family sources said.
Kukoc was contacted by Nugget officials last weekend in Rome, where his Yugoslav team, Jugoplastika Split, competed against the Nuggets, Philips Milano of Italy and Barcelona of Spain in the McDonald’s Open.
