Van Nuys 33, Poly 0--Running back Diallo Frazier rushed for two first-half touchdowns to lead the Wolves at home.
Quarterback Roy Vasich connected on a 19-yard touchdown pass to Cuneyt Karacuha on the last play of the first quarter to give Van Nuys a 14-0 lead. The Wolves (1-2, 1-0) took a 27-0 lead in the second period when Tony Indelicato returned a punt 45 yards for a touchdown.
Harold Boudreaux had a 40-yard interception return in the third period to cap the Van Nuys scoring.
The Van Nuys defense limited Poly (1-3, 0-1) to 112 yards in total offense. Jonathan Campbell, who rushed for 280 yards last week, was held to 50 yards in 15 carries.
