Bloomingdale’s Hires Advisers: Bloomingdale’s, the ritzy department store chain put up for sale by its cash-strapped Canadian parent, Campeau Corp., said it has hired the Blackstone Group and Drexel Burnham Lambert Inc. to assist “senior management in evaluating its alternatives.” Marvin Traub, chairman of Bloomingdale’s, also said the chain hired Gotshal & Manges as legal counsel to assist senior management.
