Teen-age tennis star Jennifer Capriati can play in her first professional tournament before her 14th birthday under a rules change, the Women’s International Professional Tennis Council announced.

Capriati, 13, winner of the junior French and U.S. opens, will be eligible to play in the $300,000 Florida women’s championships and the International Players Championships at Key Biscayne, Fla.
