ISLAMABAD, Pakistan — Afghan rebels staged their second major rocket attack on Kabul in three days Friday, killing 13 people and wounding an undetermined number of others, official Kabul Radio said.
It said at least seven shells struck the Afghan capital, which has suffered under a series of guerrilla rocket barrages during the past two months that have caused hundreds of casualties.
The rebels, who are based mostly in Pakistan and armed by the United States, China and some Middle East nations, have also staged two major rocket attacks on the city’s airport this month that left at least 12 people dead and caused damage to aircraft and buildings at the facility.
