MCI Communications has named a new president...
MCI Communications has named a new president of its Pacific division, based in San Francisco, elevating Howard C. Crane, currently senior vice president-corporate affairs at the company’s headquarters in Washington. Crane succeeds Harold S. (Ted) Trimmer, who will take on an unspecified new assignment. Crane joined MCI in 1982 after having been vice president-corporate relations at the Federal National Mortgage Assn. He also held senior management positions with Cigna and IBM.
