Bush’s Mother Being Treated for Pneumonia

GREENWICH, Conn. — Dorothy Walker Bush, the President’s 88-year-old mother, was admitted to Greenwich Hospital with pneumonia Monday, a White House spokeswoman said.
“She’s in stable condition and is expected to improve,” said Alixe Glen. Mrs. Bush, who lives in Greenwich, was admitted to Greenwich Hospital’s emergency room shortly after noon, said hospital spokeswoman Michelle Brown. “She had not been feeling well last week. She had been suffering a mild respiratory condition,” Brown said.
