San Diego
A woman sought in the shotgun slaying of a 25-year-old man turned herself at police headquarters hours after the shooting, a Police Department spokesman said Sunday.
Nannie Louise Wilkerson, 26, also surrendered the weapon allegedly used in the shooting of Tony Paladino, 25, near the Buckner Hotel, 765 10th Ave. The two were seen arguing in front of the hotel Saturday shortly before the shooting and witnesses reported seeing a woman running from the area afterward.
Paladino was dead on arrival at UC San Diego Medical Center. He had been shot in chest.
Wilkerson is being held at Las Colinas Women’s Detention Facility.
