An analysis of Tommy Duhart’s transcript revealed that the former defensive tackle took the same weightlifting class five times in two years and raises questions about his eligibility for football at the University of Florida, the St. Petersburg Times reported.
“Last night, I looked at my transcripts and said, ‘How in the hell could I take all those weight training classes?’ ” Duhart told the newspaper. “It kind of makes me look crazy.”
Duhart, released last month by the New Orleans Saints, plans to enroll at St. Thomas University in Miami to resume work toward a degree.
