Anthony Industries Buys Olin Ski: The Los Angeles-based company said the purchase of the Olin ski business from Olin Corp. of Stamford, Conn., will strengthen Anthony’s position as one of the world’s leading suppliers of recreational and competition downhill skis. Anthony already owns the K2 and PRE ski brands. Terms were not revealed for the purchase of the Olin ski assets and the right to use the Olin name on skis and related products worldwide. Olin Ski, based in Middletown, Conn., has annual sales of about $10 million.
