A man wanted in the July 26 shooting of a San Diego teen-ager was arrested Wednesday by the San Diego police gang unit, a police spokesman said.
Christopher Thompson, 22, of San Diego, was arrested at 10:15 a.m. in the 400 block of Los Angeles Place in connection with the July 26 shooting of Rufus Reynolds, 14, and a July 20 armed robbery on the 5500 block of Alaveras Avenue in San Diego, said police spokesman Bill Robinson.
Thompson was booked into the downtown on suspicion of two counts of assault with a deadly weapon, two counts of false imprisonment, two counts of armed robbery and one count of burglary, Robinson said.
