Boeing Unit To Cut Jobs: Boeing Aerospace & Electronics in Kent, Wash., said it will eliminate about 800 secretaries, engineers and managers from its space and missile programs. The cuts will take effect over the next month. The move stems from defense spending cuts and projections that Boeing will lose money on government contracts this year.
