First Female Commodore in Area Took Helm in ’82
The “Open Seas” article on Aug. 13 says Betta Mortarotti this year “became the first female commodore of a major yacht club.”
In 1982, Adra Kober did a magnificent job as Alamitos Bay Yacht Club’s first female commodore of any Southern California Yachting Assn. affiliated club.
