Yugoslav basketball star Drazen Petrovic and the Portland Trail Blazers have reached a contract agreement.
The guard flew to Portland from Spain, where he was playing for Club Real Madrid.
Warren Legarie, Petrovic’s agent, said the contract could make Petrovic the highest-paid of the European players who will join the National Basketball Assn. this season.
