Blast Damages Door of Attorney’s House
An explosion damaged the front door of an attorney’s house in Van Nuys, Los Angeles police reported Thursday.
The blast occurred near midnight Wednesday at the home of Robert Klein in the 15900 block of Haynes Street, police said. No one was hurt.
An unknown explosive material was used, and the force of the blast heavily damaged the door and shattered a window in the door, Detective Robert Muldrew said.
The case is being investigated by the bomb squad and the department’s Criminal Conspiracy Unit. Police said that there were no suspects and the explosion may have been a prank.
