Insider Trading Charges Settled: International businessman Fred Lee, charged in a massive insider trading scheme at Morgan Stanley & Co., agreed to settle the case and pay back $25 million in profits and penalties, the Securities and Exchange Commission said. Lee, a Taiwanese citizen with strong business ties to Hong Kong, neither admitted nor denied the allegations brought in a June, 1988, complaint against him and Stephen Wang Jr.
