Board Vote on the AIDS Ordinance

The Rev. Louis P. Sheldon and his Traditional Values Coalition, along with Rep. William E. Dannemeyer have proven the theory of evolution. Man is nothing more than a malformed abnormality of the ape. I have a hard time believing God’s children would spend $2,000 and hundreds of hours in an effort to ravage and create misery for a courageous group of people fighting for their lives. AIDS is a disease that will be defeated with heart and with brains, not discrimination.
The leadership behind the Orange Curtain had a chance to demonstrate compassion and provide responsible direction in dealing with the AIDS crisis, instead they maligned themselves with self-righteous intent. If anyone can find justification in discrimination of the sick and dying, may their cowardly soul someday rise above prejudice and join those who have found the meaning of life and respect God’s creations in all its variations.
