Dottin Scores 23 to Lead All-Stars

Malru Dottin from Saddleback High School led an Orange County basketball all-star team to a 118-115 victory over the Gold Coast all-stars Saturday night at San Marcos High School in Santa Barbara.

Dottin, who will attend the University of North Carolina at Charlotte in the fall, finished with 23 points. Khari Johnson from El Toro, who will attend UC Irvine, added 22 and Carlos Palomino of Los Amigos had 20.

Jeff Gardner from Rio Mesa scored 38 to lead all scorers.
