U.S., Israel and Conrad
Americans should be very disturbed to see Conrad abused each time he is critical of the Israeli government’s acts in the Mideast. This small minority of censors would destroy freedom of speech, a basic right. They have only the right to disagree with Conrad, not the right to silence him.
The problem is serious in that the censors do manage to succeed, as in the case of “Rage,” a documentary depicting the Palestinian struggle for freedom. Americans cannot see this picture, yet it is being viewed in Europe without restrictions.
Conrad is not the issue, freedom is the issue.
