Beeba’s Creations: The San Diego-based importer and wholesale distributor of women’s clothing, announced that it expects to report a significant improvement in earnings and sales for the third quarter ended May 31.
In a prepared statement, Beeba’s Creations said it expects earnings to come in at between 30 to 33 cents per share on sales of $39.6 million, up from a loss of 2 cents per share on sales of $29.3 million for the same quarter the previous year. Backlog also improved to $41.8 million as of May 31, up 87% from the $22.4 million figure 12 months previous.
For the first nine months of the fiscal year to date, Beeba’s Creations said it expects to report earnings of between 61 and 64 cents per share on sales of $93.5 million, up from a loss of 8 cents per share on sales of $75.3 million for the same three quarters last year.
In over-the-counter trading Thursday, Beeba’s Creations stock closed down $.375 per share at $14.
