Harp, Stroh to Share Football Duties
Tom Harp of Granada Hills High has been promoted from offensive coordinator and will share the head coaching duties with Darryl Stroh of the Highlander football team.
Harp, who also coaches the boys’ volleyball team, moved from the B level when Stroh became head coach in 1985. Stroh, who runs the team’s defense, said the promotion rewards Harp for the work he’s done with the program.
“This won’t change anything because he’s been carrying a full load running the offense all along,” Stroh said. “He has all the qualifications a head coach should have. This puts him where he deserves to be.”
