Astate review of the permit for Lopez Canyon Landfill has been postponed from today to June 23.
The hearing will be held at 10 a.m. in a second-floor meeting room at Glendale City Hall, 613 E. Broadway, instead of at the Museum of Science and Industry as previously scheduled.
The landfill, operated by the city of Los Angeles, has been criticized by residents of nearby Lake View Terrace, Pacoima and Kagel Canyon for alleged violations to the 1977 permit. Board members will hear testimony from the public as well as the city Bureau of Sanitation.
