Comings and goings: Gates McFadden will return to “Star Trek: The Next Generation” in her role of Dr. Beverly Crusher come fall, but Diana Muldaur is leaving the series. Muldaur, who played Dr. Kate Pulaski, “has gone into other Starfleet service,” according to a Paramount press release. She may, however, make future guest appearances.
