Daniel Garcia Named Rockefeller Trustee
Daniel P. Garcia, partner in the Los Angeles law firm Munger, Tolles & Olson, is among five new trustees elected to the Rockefeller Foundation. The others are actor Alan Alda, San Antonio Mayor Henry G. Cisneros, Ford Motor Co. executive Ronald E. Goldsberry and Peggy Dulany, founder and president of the Synergos Institute in New York.
The New York-based foundation, founded in 1913 by John D. Rockefeller Sr. “to promote the well-being of mankind throughout the world,” makes grants in a wide range of areas including agricultural, health and population sciences in international development, the arts and humanities in the United States and equal opportunity for American minorities.
