Irresponsible Development in Porter Ranch
I would like to comment on the narrow view expressed by Caltrans concerning the impact on the Simi Valley Freeway by the Porter Ranch Project.
There is a tremendous amount of homes and businesses being built in Simi Valley, Moorpark and other sections of Ventura County that will cause more and more congestion as time goes by. To widen the Simi Valley Freeway will barely be adequate for the future without considering the Porter Ranch Project.
With our sewer system so overburdened, our garbage dumps at a minimum and the shortage of water we are always warned about, I don’t understand why the Los Angeles Department of Planning would even consider a project of this magnitude.
